If a jury were asked whether Edward Snowden is a traitor or whistle-blower, I seriously doubt that all 12 would vote that he is a traitor. The real question is whether he would get a fair hearing. Maybe we should ask an intelligence and surveillance expert if a fair hearing is likely. Oh yea, Snowden is an intelligence and surveillance expert and he’s on the run.

If Snowden can’t be convicted as a traitor then he’s a whistle-blower, by definition, whether or not you agree. Now can we get back to the real fight to restore our rights to be searched only with a court order on evidence or probable cause, privacy and habeas corpus?
